Everything around us can tell us something about our self. If we are observant, we can pick up vital clues about what is happening in our life and what we can do to change or enhance our course. Notice what you see around you. Start with your home. What draws your attention? Your home will give you vital clues about your inner and outer life.
If your home is messy and cluttered, more often than not your life is feeling out of control. If your wallet is disorganized, you are probably avoiding some issues surrounding your financial situation. Notice how your toothpaste container is squeezed. Is it bunchy all over, or is it flat and neatly squeezed to the top.
The mere act of squeezing the toothpaste can reveal whether we are organized, or whether we tend to rush through things in a spontaneous manner. It is a sure bet that if you are orderly, your toothpaste is nicely folded and not bunchy.
The wonderful thing about noticing our surroundings is that once we observe what is happening, we can make small adjustments that automatically move our lives in a better direction. It doesn't take much to cause a significant change. The outer world is a great reflection of our inner world. Just as we can now send an e-mail with the click of a key, we can also change the direction of our lives with small and subtle adjustments.
As soon as we notice a pattern or lack of alignment, the healing process begins. Consciousness has a way of bringing light to a situation. It doesn't matter if the problem looks big. Trust in your energetic power. Do something small that reflects a brighter reality. For example, notice what you see as you travel to work or school. If it isn't pleasing or appealing, then take an alternative route. This slight shift signifies your intention of a new direction and can make a world of difference.
